From Our Family To Yours

Getting closer and closer to Christmas and Ty is getting bigger and bigger...
She no longer walks, She RUNS. Everywhere she goes, it really is so cute.
We started potty training right around Thanksgiving, and were proud to say we've only had a couple dirty diapers since... Peep ones only :) She points at her bum when she needs to go, but really shes on a schedule and we know what time of the day to sit her up there.... She is so proud of herself everytime and is always sure to wave "Bye Bye" as we flush. I still don't see her being totally potty trained for awhile as I think shes a little young to TOTALLY understand, but we are making nice progress... and hey, less diapers is nice!

Lately new words are "Pree" - pretty and telling everything "No"... she has also said, but does not say regularly "Hello", "Grama" and "Hot!"

Cant believe this year is almost gone, seems like only last week we were bringing home a new baby.... Time sure flies when your having fun!

Almost Birthday Time....

All this birthday party planning has recently had me a little sad..
My little baby is just growing so quickly... right before my eyes she has turned into such a beautiful big girl.

She loves to run and play and carry babydolls around with her everywhere.
She loves her daddy to sniff her feet and tell her they are stinky
She LOOOOVES to play with other kids whenever she can.


Ty is just so happy and such a sweet baby, and I wish she could stay the way she is today.
So sweet and cuddly and innocent.

I'm happy to see her growing into a healthy big girl... but I'm starting to miss the baby age.

Oh, and while were talking "Babyage" - Shane and Jazmine had her first cousin, Maia Josephine, on 9/28/10 and Tylee just loves her... Little jealous at first, but now likes to pat her and give her kisses.
We cant wait till they are old enough to play together and to be best friends.

Weve got a walker!!

Actually, it was almost 2 weeks ago that it happened... Caught her first ( on camera ) consecutive steps on 8/17/10... What a big girl! Walking at 9 months.... Such proud parents, we are.



Right around then, tooth #2 came through as well... So our baby has her bottom two toofers now, and those shiny little things are super cute and make her look extra goofy when she grins.

TyTy is such a happy girl and we are so blessed to have her, she really is such a joy everyday. Today we celebrated her "10 Month Birthday" and took her out to lunch like we have been for a few months... Carino's this time, where she filled up on garlic bread and Gorgonzola and chicken penne.... that girl is a piggy!! But we love this little piggy to pieces.

Standing and Steps!

Wow.
I have finally been able to catch her standing alone on camera! Shes soooooo good at it and will whenever she gets the chance! She has been brave on a couple occasions and has taken a couple steps but that scares the crap out of me, and I get excited and yell then she laughs and falls... We will have this runnin thing in no time at all ;)

She has also mastered the stairs and thinks its hilarious to race up them when we tell her no... bought a baby gate and shes hates it like the plague.

Shell get used to it.

I never did share Ty's 8 month photo shoot.... It was so fun! I had her pics taken by Laura Farris and she did such a wonderful job... Every single one came out absolutely adorable. Laura specializes in newborn photography, but I emailed her anyways and she just happened to be available! Sweet!

We have a Tooth!

Finally at days shy of 9 months, sissy has her first tooth. On the bottom left, right up front :)

It makes me a little sad because I love having a gummy girl... she just looks so babyish without any teeth and I am not ready for her to look like and "older baby".

She has hit a major growth spurt and has gotten really long this week.... is now full blown crawling, but really doesnt like to. She crawls ( fast!) to wherever she can stand up... and tried to walk. She can stand on her own for a little bit at a time and can take a couple steps before she tumbles.... Cruises around the furniture like a champ with only one hand on it :) We got her a new push toy and she LOVES that thing! Walk around the house with it most of the day.....Such a cute baby!

Growing so Quickly!

Tylee ( Booboo Bear, Neno, Sissy, Sister, Ty Ty, Tahdah) is getting sooooo big!! Shes been trying to crawl now for several weeks and has gotten it down... however she chooses not to.

From her "crawling stance" she either:

A - Tries to Stand

B - pulls herself up onto whatever is closest, stable or not.

or

C- "Butt Scoots".

This one (... C ) is pretty funny to watch though, she gets up on all fours, then pivots and sits back down in a different spot... does this to get to where she wants to go.... Crazy little lady.

Also she is thinking she is a big girl and too big for pureed baby food... and would much rather have what we are having... new loves are Grandpas Spaghetti, Mac n Cheese and Otter Pops. She feeds herself too... rubs her spoon in her bowl, then attempts at getting it in mouth, does pretty good actually!

Busy Busy Month

But definantly a fun one :)

We just love our girl so so much, but its a little sad to watch how quickly she is growing in front of us!

Ty is trying to crawl, it is soooo stinkin cute, but we know as soon as she gets it, we are in trouble... The girl likes to get into EVERYTHING!!!! She can get onto all fours from sitting and kind of from belly, and rocks then faceplants.

Oh ya, Also trying to walk.... Arent we supposed to get crawling down first??!

She can pull herself up easily onto Beau or I, and has pulled up a few times onto furniture or toys. When she is on all fours trying to crawl... she tries to stand from there too.

She rolls around the whole house and gets super upset if something ( like the coffee table leg) slows her down... I think her 2 second meltdowns are hilarious.

Memorial Day Weekend... Tys First Camping Trip

So normally for Memorial Day weekend, we have stayed around town and BBQ'd with friends or family... Seeing as it was Ty's first we thought camping would be fun :)

We took Sam along with us and we had such a nice time. Tylee did wonderful and hardly cried at all... she just loves to be outside.

Was a little colder than I would have liked it to be, thank goodness we had the camper!

Ty hung out in the playpen while we were busy with cooking or when she wanted to not be held... She just watched the trees and water during the day and the fire in the evening while she was in there

Wasnt too sure what to think at first of the stream ( Was pretty fast and kind of loud) but was fine with Auntie holding her...
Overall it was a fantastic weekend and was soo cute to see our baby being apart of something we love to do too :)

Another One of Many Firsts

Took Ty to the park for her very first time :)

My girl LOVED it!! We went with Sam and Harlee Jo and had so much fun...Too bad daddy had to work and couldnt come along, hes a bigger kid that most ;)

Tylee loved to swing and giggled the whole time I swung with her on my lap.... She watched all the kids around her and you could tell she just wanted to play!

Cant wait till she gets old enough to run around and enjoy it even more!!

Baby First Roadtrip

Well, we got home yesterday after a wonderful time visiting Tom and Char near The Dalles, OR. It was about a 4hour drive ( 5 with stops) and Tylee did wonderful!! Slept most of the way, only had to made a couple stops to let her out of her seat a bit and feed her.

It was so beautiful there, The house was right along the Columbia River, in the middle of fruit orchards that were just beginning to bloom.

While there, we visited the Maryhill Museum

And the Stonehenge War Memorial

...and Beau got some fishing on the Columbia in.... was a little too windy to take Ty. He got a Sturgeon though! First one, and he was pretty proud.

Photos with the Bunny

I always love to look at pictures of babys getting bigger... the ones where their size is compared to the same thing over and over as they grow....

Well, Grandma Laura brought a bunny to the hospital when Ty was born and it has become our "size bunny".

So, weve been giving Tylee food for a few weeks now and she has had bananas a couple times... Apparently today she decided she didnt like them.

Even though I shouldn't laugh at this little trick, I cant help it...The only other thing she spits out is Peas.

Its messy but so cute!!

Thanks Uncle Shane, for teaching Tylee how to spit. Its really Lovely.

Tys First Easter

Since we missed almost all the other Holiday 1sts... Were starting off with Easter.

Took Tylee to go see the neon Easter Bunny at the mall with a couple good friends and their cute kids and got some cute pictures.

We spent Easter Sunday with my family and Beaus dad. Everyone had lots of Easter goodies for sissy and she seemed to have fun going through her basket... Got lots of teething toys and some super cute shades! She looked so adorable... My goodness I love this girl.

Well, Here we go!

In an attempt to start something for our family and our daughter that will last beyond her baby book. Ive decided to be a "blogger". Not real sure of how this works, so I will learn as I go!

Because this hasnt been an ongoing thing for me...

How about a little Re-cap of our family until now:

Beau and I met through mutual friends when we were both still in High School, however didn't become a couple until 2004.

After a few years together we took the next step and moved into a beautiful house in Meridian, few years after that found ourselves expecting our first child...a daughter.

Tylee Jo, the love of both our lives.

Lots of happenings between those occasions, but somehow nothing seemed important and worth remembering once Tylee came along.

So there is us, up till now..... here we go with my blogging adventure!
